Very important is a home loss of second ranked Regulators (11-3) against fifth ranked Cybots (10-5) on Friday night. Host Regulators were defeated by Cybots in a tough game at home 101-108. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Regulators. Cybots forced 21 Regulators turnovers. Regulators were plagued by 36 personal fouls down the stretch. Center Livingston Munnings orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 21 rebounds. Guard Ernest Saunders (188, college: Cleveland St. CC) contributed with 29 points, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. International power forward Eugene Bain (195-88, college: Bellevue) replied with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 17 rebounds and Miguel Mackey added 15 points and 7 assists in the effort for Regulators. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cybots have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Regulators at the other side keep the second position with three games lost. Cybots will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Regulators will play against the Bahamas and hope to get back on the winning track.
