A very interesting game took place in Olavarria. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of second-ranked Olimpo (15-10) to first ranked Estudiantes O. (18-8) 79-77 on Friday evening. The hosts were already 12 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 27-17 Olimpo's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 79-77 at the end of the game. Point guard Diego Figueredo (185-91) notched 23 points to lead the effort and guard Leandro Portillo (185-85) supported him with 18 points and 6 assists. Four Estudiantes O. players scored in double figures. Even 29 points by guard Christian Schoppler (185-86) did not help to save the game for Olimpo. Center Franco Pennacchotti (202-90) added 18 points and 8 rebounds for the guests. Olimpo's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Estudiantes O. have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 18-8 record. Olimpo at the other side dropped to the third place with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
