Regular Season Round 25: KKL - Fubon Braves 86-88

Sixth-ranked KKL (7-20) made lots of trouble for third ranked Fubon Braves (17-12) on Friday. Fubon Braves managed to secure only two-point victory 88-86. However their fans expected easier game. Central African-American center Patrick O'Bryant (213-86, college: Bradley) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points, 16 rebounds and 5 blocks for the winners. Guard Yu-Hsuan Sung (183-89) chipped in 24 points. American forward Eugene Phelps (198-90, college: Long Beach St.) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds and the former international point guard Wei-Han Lin (178-90) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Fubon Braves and four KKL players scored in double figures. Fubon Braves maintains third place with 17-12 record having just two points less than leader Dacin Tigers. KKL at the other side dropped to the bottom position with 20 games lost. They share it with Bank of Taiwan. Fubon Braves will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. KKL will play against Pauian (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
