Everything went according to plan in Concordia where second ranked Estudiantes C. (24-12) won against 8th ranked Penarol (14-22) 89-71 on Saturday. They outrebounded Penarol 43-26 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. American-Jordanian Dar Tucker (193-88, college: De Paul) fired a double-double by scoring 31 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Cuban center Javier Justiz (205-92, agency: Pro Sports) chipped in 25 points and 8 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). American guard Rob Reed (185-90, college: Concord) produced 18 points and international center Roberto Acuna (208-90) added 11 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Estudiantes C. maintains second position with 24-12 record behind leader San Lorenzo. Penarol lost seventh consecutive game.
