Regular Season Round 22: IK Eos - Udominate 57-77

Damligan top team - Udominate (22-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed seventh ranked IK Eos (9-14) in Lund 77-57. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 16-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 77-57. It was a great shooting night for Udominate especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. American guard Hollie Mershon (178-90, college: Drexel, agency: Interperformances) notched 27 points to lead the effort and the former international guard Agnes Nordstrom (180-88) supported her with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Even 20 points by Matilda Edren (174-94) did not help to save the game for IK Eos. American guard Antoinette Thompson (170-90, college: TCU) added 14 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Udominate have an impressive 16-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 22-0 record. IK Eos lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eighth place with 14 games lost. Udominate will meet at home Telge (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. IK Eos will play against Norrkoping Dolphins and hope to secure a win.
