There was no surprise when 15th ranked Viten Fuen. (2-17) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Azuqueca (14-6) 69-56 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Azuqueca. Viten Fuen. was better in fourth quarter 11-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Azuqueca forced 24 Viten Fuen. turnovers. The best player for the winners was Senegalese center Serigne Barro (208-95) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds. Point guard Alvaro Rojas (173-84) chipped in 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Victor Moreno (195-98) produced 17 points and 5 rebounds and center Bassirou Gueye (200-97) added 5 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. Viten Fuen.'s coach Armando Gomez rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Azuqueca have an impressive six-game winning streak.
