Regular Season Round 21: Firenze All Foods - Domodossola 78-65

Not a big story in a game in Firenze where 15th ranked Domodossola (6-14) was defeated by eighth ranked Fiorentina (11-9) 78-65 on Saturday. Fiorentina outrebounded Domodossola 34-23 including 22 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was swingman Davide Poltroneri (195-85) who scored 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Power forward Davide Rosignoli (203-88) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. Fiorentina's coach Giulio Cadeo used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Antonio Serroni (192-87) who recorded 16 points and 9 rebounds and power forward Francesco Tuci (204-92) added 9 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Five Fiorentina and four Domodossola players scored in double figures. Fiorentina moved-up to fifth place in B. Newly promoted Domodossola dropped to the sixteenth position with 14 games lost. Fiorentina will face San Miniato (#8) on the road in the next round. Domodossola will play against USE Basket (#4) and hope to win that game.
