Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Murcia: Myrtia (#1) and UCAM Murcia II (#2). Myrtia (15-2) won against visiting UCAM Murcia II (11-7) 73-62. UCAM Murcia II was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 31-17 charge of Myrtia, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of center Marcos Molina (202-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Jose Fernandez (200-78) who added 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Myrtia's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Pablo Carselle (183-93) responded with 11 points and 9 rebounds and guard Emilio Martinez (180-98) scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four UCAM Murcia II players scored in double figures. Myrtia have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group E with 15-2 record. UCAM Murcia II lost third consecutive game. They keep the second place with seven games lost. They share the position with Valencia II.
