The game between 10th ranked Cleaners (2-10) and second ranked Regulators (13-3) in on Saturday ended with biggest points difference. Guests from outscored Cleaners 113-70. Regulators forced 19 Cleaners turnovers and outrebounded them 66-48 including a 45-31 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Cleaners' players. It was a quality performance for the former international guard Brian Bain (190-81, college: Armstr.Atlantic) who led the winners and scored 30 points and 7 rebounds. Simon Cruz accounted for 27 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Five Regulators players scored in double figures. Herbert Knowles came up with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds and Tamiko King added 16 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals respectively for Cleaners in the defeat. Regulators keep a position of league leader. Loser Cleaners keep the tenth place with ten games lost. Regulators will meet at home Shockers (#6) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Cleaners will play against Shockers (#6) and hope to secure a win.
