The former international center Jesus Fernandez (204-75) contributed with 14 points for the winners. American guard Kris Davis (188-93, college: SIU Edwardsville) answered with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Icelandic center Ragnar Nathanaelsson (218-91) added 7 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Albacete. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted team dropped to the fifteenth position with 16 games lost. They share it with Zamorano. CB Granada are looking forward to face Cambados (#5) on the road in the next round. Albacete will play against Fontedoso Carrefour (#4) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
