A very close game took place in Oviedo between Leche Rio Breogan and Oviedo CB. Sixth ranked Leche Rio Breogan (15-8) got a very close victory on the road over second-best Oviedo CB (16-8). Leche Rio Breogan managed to escape with a 3-point win 107-104 on Saturday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Josep Franch (193-91) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 4 assists and American center Matt Stainbrook (208-92, college: Xavier, agency: Three Eye Sports) who added 19 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was point guard Daniel Perez (188-90) with 23 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists and swingman Victor Perez (195-82) scored 25 points. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Leche Rio Breogan moved-up to fifth place. Loser Oviedo CB keeps the second position with eight games lost. They share it with Burgos and Palencia. Leche Rio Breogan will meet at home CB Prat (#14) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Oviedo CB will play against Magia Huesca (#17) and hope to secure a win.
