Strangely Gran Canaria outrebounded Socinsa Bembibre 46-30 including a 18-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Ariel Edwards (190-92, college: Penn St.) who helped to win the game recording 23 points. Point guard Brianna Banks (175-93, college: Penn St.) contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Brenae Harris (178-92, college: Toledo) answered with 17 points and 5 rebounds and Amber Holt (183-85, college: Middle Tenn.St.) added 9 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Gran Canaria.
