LF2 round 18 most important game was a victory of Bretagne Basket over one of their biggest challengers Arras 78-66 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by Bretagne Basket. Arras managed to win second period 22-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Arras 44-32 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for point guard Pauline Lithard (168-94) who led her team to a victory with 32 points and 5 rebounds. Bretagne Basket maintains third position with 12-6 record having four points less than leader Avenir, which they share with COB Calais. Arras lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Reims. Bretagne Basket is looking forward to face Reims (#6) at home in the next round. Arras will play against Roannais and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
