Regular Season Round 18: Dunkerque - COB Calais 51-52

Eleventh-ranked Dunkerque (6-12) used its home court advantage to challenge fifth ranked COB Calais (12-6). The visitors from Calais managed to secure only one-point victory 52-51. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Dunkerque. The guests were ahead by 3 points but lost the second period ending it with a 5-point deficit before their 15-9 run, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was forward Margaux Okou-Zouzouo (184-93) who scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. American forward Shawnta Dyer (185-91, college: Louisville, agency: Two Points) chipped in 9 points and 9 rebounds. COB Calais have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Bretagne Basket. Dunkerque at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 12 games lost. COB Calais' next round opponent will be Aulnoye (#10) at home and are hoping to win another game. Dunkerque will play against Toulouse and hope to win that game.
