Very predictable result in Perugia where ninth ranked Senigallia (10-9) beat 14th ranked Valdiceppo (4-16) 69-61 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was guard Andrea Maggiotto (194-88, agency: Octagon Europe) who scored 27 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Mirco Pierantoni (200-81, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Umberto Meschini (190-94) who recorded 23 points and 6 rebounds and guard Federico Burini (190-93) added 7 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Valdiceppo's coach Paolo Pierotti let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Senigallia moved-up to eighth place in B. Newly promoted Valdiceppo dropped to the fifteenth position with 16 games lost. Senigallia will face league's second-placed Bisceglie at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Valdiceppo will play against Porto S.Elpidio (#6) and hope to win that game.
