Regular Season Round 10: NSH GMC - CLS Knights 63-66

The most exciting game of round 10 in the IBL took place in Jakarta. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 7th ranked NSH GMC (3-5) to second ranked CLS Knights (6-1) 66-63 on Sunday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. The guests trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 14-9 charge, which allowed them to win the game. CLS Knights outrebounded NSH GMC 49-31 including 17 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by NSH GMC's players. American forward Dechriston McKinney (203-92, college: Arkansas Tech) had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Jamarr Johnson (193-88, college: Widener) chipped in 6 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side American point guard Gary Jacobs (188-92, college: Cent.Washington) responded with 28 points and 5 rebounds and Achmad Syarif (189-90) scored 10 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. CLS Knights have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 6-1 record having just one point less than leader Satria Muda. NSH GMC at the other side dropped to the eighth place with five games lost. CLS Knights will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. NSH GMC will play on the road against Satya Wacana (#11) in Salatiga and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
