There was a surprise result when fifteenth ranked Sestu (7-15) edged at home higher ranked Milano Urania (8-13) 76-74 on Sunday. Sestu made 28-of-35 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Milano Urania was plagued by 35 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Giuliano Samoggia (200-83) who scored 25 points and 9 rebounds. Swingman Romeo Trionfo (197-85, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 23 points. Four Sestu players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Simone Ferrarese (182-87) who recorded 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international power forward Andrea Paleari (202-81) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Milano Urania's coach Riccardo Eliantonio let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Sestu have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to thirteenth place in B. Loser Milano Urania keeps the tenth position with 13 games lost. Sestu will face Iseo (#16) on the road in the next round.
