Regular Season Round 22: F.Kontatto BO - Jesi 86-74

There was no surprise in Bologna where 8th ranked Jesi (11-11) was defeated by sixth ranked F.Kontatto BO (13-9) 86-74 on Sunday. F.Kontatto BO shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American-Jordanian guard Alex Legion (195-88, college: FIU, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 22 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Justin Knox (205-89, college: N.Carolina, agency: Two Points) chipped in 18 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Knox is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four F.Kontatto BO players scored in double figures. F.Kontatto BO's coach Matteo Boniciolli used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American forward Dwayne Davis (196-89, college: S.Mississippi) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Timothy Bowers (188-82, college: Mississippi St.) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. F.Kontatto BO moved-up to fifth place in A2. Loser Jesi keeps the eighth position with 11 games lost. F.Kontatto BO will face Unieuro Forli (#16) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Jesi will play against the league's leader Virtus Bologna (#1) and hope to win that game.
