The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Kongsberg (21-4) at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were edged by seventh ranked Asker Aliens (12-13) 94-93. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Asker Aliens had a 40-27 advantage in offensive rebounds. DR Congolese power forward Djo Yele (203-82) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 21 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and the former international guard Espen Stien (186-86) chipped in 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was Cuban-American guard Juan Ferrales (188-91, college: Barry) with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 8 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 steals and American guard CJ Oldham (203-91, college: Gannon) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kongsberg's coach Bard Stoller rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Asker Aliens maintains seventh place with 12-13 record. Kongsberg at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost. Asker Aliens are looking forward to face Tromso (#8) on the road in the next round. Kongsberg will have a break next round.
