The game between Top Four teams took place in Kostanay. First ranked host Tobol (12-3) smashed 3rd placed Almat.Legion (6-9) 105-69. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Almat.Legion. Tobol forced 25 Almat.Legion turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Almat.Legion's players. The best player for the winners was forward Anton Bykov (200-89) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Maksim Voeykov (195-85) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. Five Tobol players scored in double figures. Center Alexander Danilchenko (203-97) produced 19 points and 7 rebounds and the former international center Vsevolod Fadeikin (206-85) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tobol maintains first place with 12-3 record. Loser Almat.Legion keeps the third position with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
