The game between closely ranked teams ended with their biggest opponent Taiyuan Textile's (7-5) loss to first ranked Cathay Life (10-2) 58-63 on Tuesday. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Yi-Hsiu Cheng (178-93) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 6 rebounds and the former international guard Yi-Feng Chen (170-84) who added 2 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. At the losing side the former international forward Xi-Ye Liu (172-91) responded with 21 points and 7 rebounds and the former international center Pei-Chen Tsai (186-84) scored 7 points and 14 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Cathay Life have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 10-2 record. Taiyuan Textile lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the second place with five games lost. Cathay Life will face again league's second-placed Taiyuan Textile in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Taiyuan Textile will play against Chunghwa Telecom and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
