We should not miss the game where Azad (1-0) against Chemidor (0-1) where Azad won on the road by seven points 76-69. The guests were ahead by 5 points but lost the second period ending it with a 4-point deficit before their 25-14 run, which allowed them to win the game. International forward Ali-Armen Allahverdi (197-95) nailed 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and international Adnan Doraghi (190-89) accounted for 16 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Four Azad players scored in double figures. The former international guard Javad Davari (185-83) came up with 26 points and American guard Daequan Cook (195-87, college: Ohio St.) added 20 points respectively for Chemidor in the defeat. Chemidor's coach Javad Rahmatipour rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Azad will have a break next round. Chemidor's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tehran to the arena Army.
