No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked ADA Blois (10-9) defeated on the road 14th ranked Saint-Quentin (8-11) 62-53 on Friday. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 33-22 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. ADA Blois dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to Saint-Quentin's 20. American Lamayn Wilson (203-80, college: Troy) fired 28 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Florent Tortosa (198-89) chipped in 6 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Pierre-Etienne Drouault (196-90) produced 12 points and 6 assists and Haitian-American guard Eniel Polynice (196-88, college: Seton Hall) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. ADA Blois moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Nantes and Le Havre. Loser Saint-Quentin dropped to the thirteenth position with 11 games lost. ADA Blois will face Poitiers (#10) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Saint-Quentin will play against ALM Evreux and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
