Regular Season Round 25: CFBB - ALS Basket 57-100

Bottom-ranked CFBB (0-25) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 100-57 loss to eighth ranked ALS Basket (13-12) in Paris. The game without a history. ALS Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding CFBB to just 5 points in fourth quarter. ALS Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to CFBB's 28. ALS Basket forced 23 CFBB turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Guard Bastien Tardy (195-94) nailed 23 points (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winning side and forward Regis Aubry (200-82) accounted for 8 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Sofiane Briki (190-99) came up with 15 points and center Thimotee Bazille (201-99) added 13 points respectively for CFBB in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted ALS Basket maintains eighth place with 13-12 record. CFBB lost their twenty fifth game in a row. They still close the standings. ALS Basket's next round opponent will be Gries/Oberhoffen (#11) in Bischwiller. CFBB will play on the road against Souffelweyersheim (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
