Regular Season Round 11: Hang Tuah - Pacific Caesar 77-86

The game in Pandang was also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Pacific Caesar (5-3) played at the court of 7th ranked Hang Tuah (3-5). Pacific Caesar managed to secure a 9-point victory 86-77 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 20-6 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Pacific Caesar dominated on the defensive end, holding Hang Tuah to just 6 points in fourth quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Hang Tuah's 30. It was a great evening for Canadian forward Kevin Loiselle (198-88) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds. American guard David Seagers (188-88, college: Dowling) helped adding 19 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Pacific Caesar players scored in double figures. American guard JaJuan Smith (188-85, college: Tennessee) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international point guard Kelly Purwanto (177-83) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Pacific Caesar moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Garuda. Hang Tuah lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. They share it with JNE BSC. Pacific Caesar will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Hang Tuah will play against JNE BSC (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
