Second Stage Round 3: Musel Pikes - Amicale 75-83

An interesting game for Amicale (19-2) which played road game in Stadrbredimus against Musel Pikes (17-4). Amicale managed to get a 8-point victory 83-75. The guests were already 14 points ahead at halftime and as many as 16 after three quarters before a 24-16 last quarter charge of Musel Pikes cut the lead to 83-75 at the end of the game. It was a great evening for American forward Shavon Coleman (196-92, college: LSU, agency: Court Side) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. The former international power forward Billy McDaniel (199-84, college: Ark.-Monticello) helped adding 22 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American swingman Jarmar Gulley (196-91, college: Missouri St.) with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 12 rebounds and international power forward Joe Kalmes (200-95) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Amicale will play against Etzella (#4) in Ettelbruck in the next round. Musel Pikes will play on the road against T71 in Dudelange and hopes to get back on the winning track.
