Leader Ventspils delivered the twentieth victory. This time they crushed 7th ranked Jurmala (10-15) 99-74. The game without a history. Ventspils led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Guard Artis Ate (192-89) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Forward Maris Gulbis (200-85, agency: Players Group) contributed with 8 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Ventspils' coach Karlis Muiznieks felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
