An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Shimane. First ranked Shimane Magic faced 4th placed Bambitious Nara. Host Shimane Magic (32-6) defeated guests from Nara (15-24) 82-75. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Bambitious Nara. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 18-13. But Bambitious Nara won second period 24-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Shimane Magic made 24-of-31 free shots (77.4 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Josh Davis (203-91, college: San Diego St.) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). Jamaican-American power forward Ryan Reid (204-86, college: Florida St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. American guard Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia) produced 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Nigerian forward Andy Ogide (204-87, college: Colorado St., agency: HMS) added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Bambitious Nara players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Shimane Magic have an impressive series of fourteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 32-6 record. Loser Bambitious Nara keeps the fourth position with 24 games lost. Shimane Magic will face again Bambitious Nara (#4) at home in the next round.
