Second Stage Round 3: Kordall Steelers - Arantia 83-88

An interesting game for Arantia (5-16) which played road game in Rodange against Kordall Steelers (13-8). Arantia managed to get a 5-point victory 88-83. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 23-16. But Kordall Steelers won second period 26-24. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Arantia dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Kordall Steelers' 38. American players dominated also this game. The best player for the winners was swingman Ladarius Tabb (196, college: Alabama A&M) who had a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 19 rebounds. Guard Duke Mondy (193-90, college: Oakland) chipped in 25 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Arantia players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Marlin Mason (201-93, college: Cleveland St.) who recorded 32 points and 7 rebounds and forward Antonio Bivins (198-92, college: Mass.-Lowell) added 27 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
