Regular Season Round 32: BC Nokia - KTP Basket 85-84

Important game to mention about took place in Nokia. Sixth ranked BC Nokia (13-16) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 8th ranked KTP-Basket (11-19) 85-84 on Saturday evening. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But KTP-Basket won fourth quarter 31-25. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Javier Duren (193-93, college: Yale) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 8 rebounds and forward Eldar Skamo (198-86) who added 10 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. Four BC Nokia players scored in double figures. American guard Antwan Scott (188-92, college: Colorado St.) responded with 33 points (!!!) and Jamaican-American power forward Sherman Gay (201-82, college: Loyola Mary) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. BC Nokia maintains sixth position with 13-16 record. KTP-Basket at the other side keeps the eighth place with 19 games lost. BC Nokia will play against league's leader Helsinki Seagulls on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. KTP-Basket will play against Kauhajoen Karhu (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
