Arras (11-8) was upset by twelfth ranked Roannais (11-8) in . Roannais won against higher ranked Arras 60-52 on Saturday. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 17-7. But Arras won second period 15-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Roannais dominated on the defensive end, holding Arras to just 7 points in first quarter. They also forced 21 Arras turnovers and had a 28-14 advantage in offensive rebounds. Argentinian power forward Agostina Burani (184-91) fired 6 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Forward Jessica Clemencon (190-89) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. Berengere Dinga-Mbomi (172-95) produced 19 points and the former international forward Sabrina Reghaissia (188-83) added 8 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Roannais (6-13) moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Dunkerque. Arras lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with eight games lost. They share it with Reims. Roannais will meet league's leader Avenir in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Arras will play against COB Calais (#4) having rather not much hope for a victory.
