Arras (11-8) was upset by twelfth ranked Roannais (11-8) in . Roannais won against higher ranked Arras 60-52 on Saturday. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 17-7. But Arras won second period 15-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Roannais dominated on the defensive end, holding Arras to just 7 points in first quarter. They also forced 21 Arras turnovers and had a 28-14 advantage in offensive rebounds. Argentinian power forward Agostina Burani (184-91) fired 6 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Roannais will meet league's leader Avenir in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Arras will play against COB Calais (#4) having rather not much hope for a victory.
