A very interesting game took place in Cholet. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 14th ranked JDA Dijon (7-13) to fifteenth ranked Cholet Basket (7-13) 72-71 in the fight for the fourteenth place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of JDA Dijon. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. 24 personal fouls committed by JDA Dijon helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Ilian Evtimov (201-83, college: N.Carolina St.) who scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. The former international point guard Jonathan Rousselle (187-90) chipped in 14 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Cholet Basket's coach Philippe Herve allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American point guard David Holston (168-86, college: Chicago St.) produced 11 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals and his fellow American import Keaton Grant (193-86, college: Purdue) added 15 points respectively for the guests. Four JDA Dijon players scored in double figures. Cholet Basket moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Antibes and Dijon. Cholet Basket's next round opponent will be Olympique Antibes (#15) on the road.
