Second Stage Round 6: Jamtland II - Norrort 78-83

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Jamtland. First ranked Taby Basket faced 3rd ranked Jamtland II. Guests from Taby (10-1) defeated host Jamtland II (7-5) 83-78. Jamtland II was ahead by 11 points after three quarters before a 32-16 charge of Taby Basket, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Jamtland II's 34. They outrebounded Jamtland II 47-29 including a 19-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for center Marcus Friman (203-95) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Mattias Herlitz (190-94) contributed with 11 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Four Taby Basket players scored in double figures. Guard Olle Lundqvist (198-99) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists and forward Anton Kobylak-Berglund (199-96) added 23 points in the effort for Jamtland II. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Taby Basket have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position in BEHN forts with 10-1 record. Jamtland II at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
