Very expected game when 14th ranked Torrelodones (3-16) lost to tenth ranked Villarrobledo (11-10) in Madrid 71-78 on Saturday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Torrelodones was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American guard Bo Barnes (193-90, college: Arizona St., agency: Haylett Sports) who led his team to a victory with 21 points and 5 assists. Senegalese forward Bruno Diatta (208-96) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Serbian center Almir Hadzisehovic (203-92, college: Alaska-Fairb.) answered with 19 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and American guard Elijah Hayes (182-93, college: Flagler) added 14 points in the effort for Torrelodones. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Villarrobledo moved-up to eighth place in Group B. Torrelodones lost their seventh game in a row. They dropped to the fifteenth position with 16 games lost. Villarrobledo will face Estudiantes B (#13) in Madrid in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Torrelodones will play on the road against the league's second-placed Casvi where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
