There was no surprise in Doha where 10th ranked Al Khor (2-15) was defeated by seventh ranked Al Ahli (6-11) 79-70 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 79-70. Serbian point guard Branko Jereminov (186-87) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 assists for the winners and Serbian forward Aleksandar Mitrovic (201-90, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 25 points and 6 rebounds. American point guard Dairese Gary (185-88, college: N.Mexico) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and Mustafa Lasheen scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four Al Khor players scored in double figures. Al Ahli maintains seventh place with 6-11 record. Al Khor lost their fourth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost.
