Second Stage Round 6: KFUM Fryshuset - KFUM Uppsala 103-76

There was no surprise in Stockholm where 6th ranked KFUM Uppsala (3-7) was crushed by second ranked KFUM Fryshuset (9-2) 103-76 on Sunday. The game without a history. KFUM Fryshuset led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to KFUM Uppsala's 42. They outrebounded KFUM Uppsala 46-31 including a 32-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. KFUM Fryshuset looked well-organized offensively handing out 36 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Sami Harun (192-98) who had a triple-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists. Guard Jacob Bodin (190-97) chipped in 29 points and 7 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Alan Zekovic (195-98) who recorded a double-double by scoring 11 points, 7 rebounds and 12 assists and forward Tobias Skyttevall (196-95) added 17 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Five KFUM Fryshuset and four KFUM Uppsala players scored in double figures. KFUM Fryshuset maintains second position in BEHN forts with 9-2 record having just three points less than leader IK Eos. Loser KFUM Uppsala keeps the sixth place with seven games lost. KFUM Fryshuset will face BG Lulea (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. KFUM Uppsala will play against KFUM Blackeberg in Vallingby and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
