No shocking result in a game when third ranked Alma Trieste (16-7) defeated at home 15th ranked Recanati (6-17) 83-66 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was American forward Jordan Parks (201-94, college: N.C.Central, agency: Two Points) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Lorenzo Baldasso (192-95) chipped in 19 points. Baldasso is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Alma Trieste players scored in double figures. Alma Trieste's coach Eugenio Dalmasson allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Swedish-American Erik Rush (196-88, college: Montana St.) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds and center Leonardo Marini (205-95) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Alma Trieste maintains third place in A2 with 16-7 record having just two points less than leader Angelico Biella. Loser Recanati keeps the fifteenth position with 17 games lost. Alma Trieste will face Piacenza (#10) in Casalpusterlengo in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Recanati will play at home against Unieuro Forli (#16) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
