Regular Season Round 22: San Severo - Rimini 77-58

No shocking result in a game when third ranked San Severo (16-6) crushed at home 9th ranked Rimini (9-11) 77-58 on Sunday. San Severo looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Quite impressive performance for guard Leonardo Ciribeni (190-92) who helped to win the game recording 22 points. Point guard Jordan Losi (182-80) contributed with 15 points and 7 assists for the winners. Swingman Leonardo Battistini (194-95) replied with 22 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Davide Meluzzi (180-98, agency: Interperformances) added 14 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists in the effort for Rimini. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. San Severo maintains third position in B with 16-6 record having just one point less than leader Montegrano, which they share with Cento. Loser Rimini keeps the ninth place with 11 games lost. San Severo will face Isernia (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rimini will play against Taranto and hope to win that game.
