There was no surprise when 8th ranked Forssan Koripojat (8-16) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Oulun NMKY (12-10) 90-76. The game was mostly controlled by Oulun NMKY. Forssan Koripojat was better in second period 23-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Oulun NMKY players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The winners were led by American guard Zach Stahl (196, college: Northeastern, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists and the other American import forward Demondre Harvey (201-93, college: La-Monroe) supported him with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Even a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds by American forward Bruce Reed (202-90, college: Pikeville) did not help to save the game for Forssan Koripojat. Swingman Teemu Sulonen (188-94) added 25 points and 5 assists for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Oulun NMKY moved-up to fourth place in Division. Forssan Koripojat at the other side keeps the eighth position with 16 games lost. Oulun NMKY's next round opponent will be HBA-Marsky (#9) in Helsinki where they are favorite.
