Regular Season Round 22: Domodossola - USE Basket 59-71

Very predictable result when fourth ranked USE Basket (13-8) won against on the road 16th ranked Domodossola (6-15) 71-59 on Sunday. USE Basket had a 32-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for USE Basket especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. It was a very good performance for guard Daniele Mariotti (186-84) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Power forward Michele Bei (200-90) contributed with 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four USE Basket players scored in double figures. USE Basket's coach Giovanni Bassi used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Antonio Serroni (192-87) replied with 13 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Penny Hidalgo (175-96) added 6 points and 5 assists in the effort for Domodossola. USE Basket moved-up to third place in B. Newly promoted Domodossola keeps the sixteenth position with 15 games lost. USE Basket will face San Miniato (#6) at home in the next round. Domodossola will play against the league's second-placed Omegna (#2) and hope to win that game.
