There was no surprise in Radom where 12th ranked Polpharma (11-11) was defeated by seventh ranked Rosa (12-9) 67-60 on Sunday. Rosa had a 30-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. Polpharma was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was international swingman Michal Sokolowski (196-92) who scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. The former international Robert Witka (205-81) chipped in 20 points. Forward Lukasz Diduszko (196-86) produced 12 points and 9 rebounds and Serbian power forward Uros Mirkovic (205-82, agency: BeoExcell) added 15 points respectively for the guests. Four Polpharma players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rosa have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 12-9 record. Loser Polpharma keeps the twelfth place with 11 games lost. Rosa will have a break next round.
