We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion (6-12) was crushed at home by Hap.Petah Tikva (5-12) 77-57 on Monday. Hap.Petah Tikva forced 29 Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion turnovers and outrebounded them 38-27 including 25 on the defensive glass. American guard Ashley Beverly-Kelley (168-93, college: Troy) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import swingman Crystal Bradford (183-93, college: Cent.Michigan, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 15 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals during the contest. Five Hap.Petah Tikva players scored in double figures. American forward Shae Kelley (185-91, college: Minnesota) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and international Eden Porat (176-96) scored 15 points. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
