The game in Batumi supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Kutaisi (14-4) played at the court of 6th ranked Batumi (7-12). Kutaisi smashed Batumi 96-70 on Tuesday. The game without a history. Kutaisi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Kutaisi outrebounded Batumi 41-26 including a 36-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Batumi's players. The former international Beka Bekauri (207-91) fired 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Loser Batumi keeps the sixth position with 12 games lost. Kutaisi will meet bottom-ranked Mgzavrebi (#8) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Batumi will play against Sokhumi in Tbilisi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
