Regular Season Round 25: Rosa II Radom - Legia W-wa 85-79

Very important is a road loss of second ranked Legia W-wa (19-6) against thirteenth ranked Rosa II Radom (9-15) on Wednesday night. Visiting Legia W-wa was defeated by Rosa II Radom in a tough game in Radom 79-85. Filip Zegzula (188-94) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!) for the winning side and point guard Jakub Stanios (180-94) accounted for 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Rosa II Radom's coach Karol Gutkowski allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international swingman Grzegorz Kukielka (191-83) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Lukasz Wilczek (190-86) added 7 points, 15 assists and 4 steals respectively for Legia W-wa in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Rosa II Radom have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Znicz Basket. Legia W-wa at the other side keeps the second position with six games lost. Rosa II Radom will play against higher ranked Notec Inowr. (#11) in Inowroclaw in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Legia W-wa will play at home against Znicz Basket (#12) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
