Very expected game in Aktau where bottom-ranked Kaspiy-2 (0-15) was rolled over by fifth ranked Bars (14-1) 92-71 on Thursday. Bars outrebounded Kaspiy-2 47-22 including a 17-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. The best player for the winners was power forward Maxim Nalagov (198-94) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Aleksandr Antropov (195-93) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Bars players scored in double figures. Coach Pavel Antonenko's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Bogdan Ivanchikin (175-0) who recorded 27 points and 5 assists (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) and guard Danil Davletbaev (185-99) added 26 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Bars have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 14-1 record. Loser Kaspiy-2 still closes the standings with 15 games lost.
