An interesting game for Maccabi Ramat Gan (17-2) which played road game in Hertzeliya against Bnot Hertzeliya (11-8). Maccabi Ramat Gan had an easy win 72-45. Maccabi Ramat Gan had a 41-28 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for American point guard Chelsea Hopkins (173-90, college: San Diego St.) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 17 rebounds and 9 assists. Her fellow American import center Danielle Adams (185-89, college: Texas A&M) contributed with 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Liad Suez-Karni (187-81, college: Villanova) answered with 13 points and 7 rebounds and international forward Nofar Shalom (176-88) added 6 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Bnot Hertzeliya. Maccabi Ramat Gan are looking forward to face Ramat Hasharon (#4) at home in the next round. Bnot Hertzeliya will play against Maccabi Ashdod and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
