Regular Season Round 31: Jamtland - Malbas 95-80

Very expected game when 9th ranked Malbas (2-25) were defeated on the road by fifth ranked KFUM Jamtland (15-13) 95-80. The game was mostly controlled by KFUM Jamtland. Malbas was better in third quarter 21-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KFUM Jamtland forced 20 Malbas turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Jabril Durham (185-94, college: Arkansas) who led the winners and scored 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import forward Preston Purifoy (196-92, college: UAB) accounted for 23 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Guard Jordan Peltier (193-95) came up with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Adrian Rodgers (194-92, college: Southern, agency: Three Eye Sports) added 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Malbas in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. KFUM Jamtland maintains fifth place with 15-13 record. Malbas lost fifth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 25 lost games. KFUM Jamtland will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Malbas will play at home against Umea (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
