Rather predictable result when third ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (18-8) defeated at home 6th ranked Boras Basket (14-14) 75-70. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Boras Basket won fourth quarter 23-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Norrkoping Dolphins made 16-of-17 charity shots (94.1 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for the former international Mikael Lindquist (193-83) who led the winners and scored 17 points and 5 assists. The former international center Joakim Kjellbom (212-79, college: N.Arizona) accounted for 10 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Five Norrkoping Dolphins players scored in double figures. The former international Christian Maraker (207-82, college: Pacific) came up with 19 points and 8 rebounds and Icelandic point guard Jakob Sigurdarson (192-82, college: Birm.Southern) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Boras Basket in the defeat. Norrkoping Dolphins maintains third place with 18-8 record having four points less than leader BC Lulea. Boras Basket at the other side keeps the sixth position with 14 games lost. Norrkoping Dolphins will play against Nassjo (#7) on the road in the next round. Boras Basket will play against the league's leader BC Lulea and hopes to get back on the winning track.
