An exciting game was when second ranked Second ranked Chunghwa Telecom faced 4th placed Taipower. Chunghwa Telecom (8-7) defeated Taipower (2-13) 77-68. Chunghwa Telecom forced 19 Taipower turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Chunghwa Telecom especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 62.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Forward Hsiang-Ting Huang (180-93) stepped up and scored 23 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and forward Shin-Hui Yang (175-89) chipped in 20 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). The former international center Chi-Wen Lin (186-83) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and international forward Yu-Chun Wei (173-92) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Taipower's coach Wei-Juan Qian rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Chunghwa Telecom maintains second place with 8-7 record having five points less than leader Cathay Life. Taipower at the other side stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost.
