Top ranked Sokol Lancut (21-5) recorded its fifth loss in Stargard on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked Spojnia (18-8) 85-70. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Sokol Lancut. They outrebounded Sokol Lancut 40-27 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Spojnia looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Sokol Lancut's players. The best player for the winners was Maciej Raczynski (190-84, agency: Promotex) who scored 23 points and 5 rebounds. Spojnia moved-up to third place, which they share with GTK Gliwice. Sokol Lancut at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. Spojnia is looking forward to face Pogon Prudnik (#6) on the road in the next round. Sokol Lancut will play against Kotwica (#10) and is hoping to win this game.
